Susan Ellis
Susan is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Melbourne Business School. She has held academic positions at the Australian Graduate School of Management, the Graduate School of Business at the University of Sydney, and the JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Susan consults to government and corporate clients in Australia, the US, Canada and the UK. In addition, she spent some years at Coca-Cola where she held profit-and-loss responsibility for a $330 million dollar product category. Susan’s qualifications include BA (Hons) (North Carolina), MA (North Carolina), PhD (Rice).
Grant Foster
Grant is an Adjunct Faculty Member of The Australian Graduate School of Management (UNSW). He has held senior marketing roles in Australian, US and European listed technology businesses and is one of Australia’s leading consultants in business and brand strategy, working with clients in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the United Kingdom. Grant has an MBA from Bond University and completed the Executive Program at Stanford University.
John McVeigh
As a founding member of Ellis Foster McVeigh, John practiced as one of Australia’s leading agribusiness and export marketers and consulted extensively in regional business development across Australia. John has a Bachelor of Business (Marketing & Economics) from the University of Southern Queensland, and an MBA from Bond University. In March 2012 John was elected as a Member of the Queensland State Parliament and subsequently appointed as Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Queensland. So, for now we must continue without John’s participation in the consulting business, as he has stood down from his role within Ellis Foster McVeigh while he works for the people of Queensland.
David Fox
David Fox is a brand specialist with a unique background that combines both strategic and creative aspects of brand development. He has consulted on projects in a wide variety of industry sectors including financial services, manufacturing, education, retail and not-for-profit. David has an MBA from Melbourne Business School and a Bachelor of Design (Graphic Design – Honours) from Swinburne University.
Andrew Hardeman
Andrew recently graduated from Monash University with an Honours degree in Marketing and a Bachelor of Psychology and Marketing/Management. He completed his Honours thesis in the area of corporate reputation, focusing on the identification of key drivers of reputation development amongst consumers and received the Vice-chancellor’s Honours/PhD scholarship, and the Sir John Monash Medal, a prestigious medal only given to one student across each faculty at Monash.
Andrew is passionate about strategic brand alignment and corporate reputation and has consulted on projects in industry sectors that include financial services, retail and automotive.
Alistair Wright
Alistair is an analytics professional who enables our clients to make informed decisions and smarter moves using CRM and research data. He has held senior management roles in both client and agency environments and has worked with some of Europe and Australia’s largest brands including retail, sports and consumer goods. He specialises in turning data into applicable insights and in advising clients on the tools and resources they will need to better utilise data themselves. Alistair is a frequent speaker at training courses held by the Australian Direct Marketing Association as well as other industry events.
Gail Thomson
Gail has over twenty years experience in the market research industry on both the client and supplier sides. She has held two of the most senior client-side Research Management roles in Australia at Telstra and Ansett. Gail is a Qualified Practising Market Researcher (QPMR). She sits on the market research industry’s committee for quality assurance standards and the technical committee responsible developing market research quality standards with Standards Australia. She is also National Treasurer for the Australian Market Research Society. Gail has an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management where she is now an adjunct faculty member. She is also a faculty member of RMIT university.
Linda Kerr
Linda is a marketing services and project / account management professional. She has direct experience with a wide variety of industry sectors, including medical / hospital, banking and finance, property, energy, education and mobile technology. Linda has a BA in Communications and Social Anthropology from The University of Sydney and a Graduate Certificate in Journalism from UTS, Sydney.
